Soft Go-Live

A Smarter Way to Transition from Sage 300 to Sage Intacct

No downtime. No disruption. Just a better way to upgrade.

Upgrading your ERP system doesn’t have to mean chaos. At Perceptive Data, we’ve developed a smarter, low-risk method to move your business from Sage 300 to Sage Intacct—without interrupting your daily operations.

Our Soft Go-Live method lets you keep using your current system while we build and test the new one in parallel. That means fewer surprises, more flexibility, and a smoother experience for your entire team.

Why Choose a Soft Go-Live?

Unlike a traditional “all-or-nothing” go-live, our approach gives you:

  • Continuous business operations — no system shutdown.
  • Real-time reconciliation between old and new systems.
  • Flexible implementation timelines.
  • Greater adoption and user confidence.

Our Approach

 1. Map and Build Behind the Scenes

We start by mapping your Sage 300 general ledger (GL) accounts, vendors, and customer IDs to the new Sage Intacct environment using custom mapping tables. This allows us to build workflows that sync and convert your data in real time—with no interruption to your current system.

2. Integrate Critical Systems

Next, we connect key components like Sage 300 GLPost, point-of-sale systems, and imports to Sage Intacct. Transactions are automatically mapped and synced on a scheduled basis, giving your teams early access to real-time financial data and reporting dashboards.

3. Parallel Testing and Early Adoption

As your data flows into Sage Intacct, your team begins using it for reporting, dashboards, and more, while still relying on Sage 300 for operations. This overlap provides time to adapt, train, and refine before the full switch.

4. Gradual Cutover

Once workflows and reports are fully validated in Intacct, we phase out Sage 300 usage step by step. Teams stop entering new data into Sage 300 and fully adopt the new system—already tested and ready.
